Jay B. Zimner

Founder, Principal

Jay Zimner, the founder and principal of Zimner Law, P.C. for almost 20 years, has been problem-solving for individuals and businesses in a wide variety of legal matters and proceedings. Jay has a particular interest in real estate transactions, contract negotiations, and civil litigation. He has appeared at countless closing tables and in various courts in the Federal and State Courts of New York and Connecticut, and he has successfully appealed cases before the Appellate Term and the Appellate Division.

Over the years, Jay’s practice has evolved to meet his clients’ needs. He is grateful for his diversified client community, thanks to satisfied referrals and a growing reputation among his peers as a passionate advocate and compassionate counselor. His client-focused dedication and appreciation for the people and parameters of real estate transactions have grown to meet the demand of buyers and sellers in and around New York City, including the five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, and Connecticut.

When he is not busy speaking to – and finding solutions for – his clients, Jay serves on several boards, is involved in business and community leadership, and acts as a mentor to many. He is the go-to person among his peers to fill business needs, to make introductions, and to help others flourish.

Born and raised in Arizona, Jay earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
